Simply BOAT

These are a collection of photo's taken of BOAT, owned by David "Doc" and Barbara Thomson of Reno, Nevada. I recently spent a couple of hours trying to catch just the below deck modifications that make BOAT a unique C22. BOAT is a pocket cruiser that routinely takes on the heavy air sailing offered by Lake Tahoe and SF Bay. While the execution often looks elegant, the idea was more often than not sparked by a concern for safety aboard BOAT. I've been back to visit BOAT in the Tahoe Keys and added a few key photos. On the first trip I missed the big picture by never showing the inboard engine enclosure & controls. Over the next couple of weeks I will break the photos up into figures for an article on BOAT for publication on Fleet 4 Website, and/or the Mainsheet. -- Phil Agur
